That we truly become one united country, respecting and loving each other.

That neo-nazism will become a thing of the past and that everyone will be more open to a diverse and rich shared culture.

That enough of us refuse to be hateful and we can still raise a generation that is passionate about caring for other people.

 

I hope…

That we can unite together peacefully, loving one another, taking care of the earth and all the living creatures on it

 

I hope…

For more inclusivity, transparency & kindness towards individuals in all economic standings.

 

I hope…

For us to find a common denominator that brings all people together with an understanding that we need all to be better.

 

I hope…

That we can once again remember and exhibit the best parts of our human nature- that we can heal as a country and learn that we actually grow from sharing different perspectives, in a respectful and peaceful way.

That everyone (politicians, friends, family, etc.) will hold each other accountable in a kind yet effective way, and for us all to put in the work to lift up those who are oppressed and welcome equity.

That it (America) never settles on an identity and is always changing for the better.

For cooler heads, inclusiveness and health care for all.

For everyone to be treated equally and fairly. An end to racism and discrimination.

For kindness, helping one another, love instead of hate.

That in the future people show up for one another. That we listen more, that we take action for those who need it. That we learn about and correct our faults. I hope that in a future America, human rights are no longer viewed as something that can be debated politically. That people respect and protect one another's differences. That we as a country and world recognize love is love, black lives matter, and women deserve the right to equality and choice. I hope the arts are valued more. I hope people work together to heal after such a difficult time in history.
